Fillers: Restylane®, Juvaderm®, Sculptra®, Radiesse®
Some patients are looking for a longer lasting treatment for wrinkles, folds and/or thin lips. Products known as "fillers", can reduce fine lines and wrinkles or enhance lip size for a longer duration than its collagen counterpart - results often last 6-12 months or more.
Restylane and Juvaderm® are comprised of a non-animal based, biodegradable hyaluronic gel that is injected into the skin in very small amounts. It is composed of a molecule naturally occurring in the human body. Treatment at our Medical Spa can be completed within an hour, and the procedure does not require a prior skin test. As opposed to animal-based fillers, Restylane and Juvaderm® do not break down quickly in the body, so patients enjoy longer lasting results. And since it's made from a molecule that occurs naturally in the body, there is no risk of allergic reaction in patients with animal allergies.
A non-surgical treatment, Restylane and Juvaderm® work to rejuvenate skin for a younger, healthier look. Using a clear hyaluronic acid-based gel, Dr. David Rosenberg injects the tissue underneath the skin, causing the tissue to swell in the treated area. Patients who receive Restylane and Juvaderm® treatments will notice fine lines and wrinkles diminish as their skin appears smoother and their facial volume restored. As the tissue expands, the surface skin becomes firmer and looks younger.
Restylane and Juvaderm® are a popular treatment for long lasting lip enhancement as well. No duck lips here! Patients enjoy natural looking, fuller lips for six months to a year before needing another treatment. We err on the side of less, you can always return for a touch-up if you desire even more volume to your lips.
Radiesse is a slightly different type of filler from Restylane and Juvaderm. It is used mainly to enhance the nasolabial folds, which are the grooves on either side of the mouth which develop with age. Back to top
Sculptra: HIV Lipoatrophy
Sculptratm is an injectable facial filler capable of returning fullness to the face and reducing the appearance of wrinkles and folds. Currently, Sculptratm is FDA approved in the United States for people suffering from lipoatrophy, facial wasting, as a result of HIV. Lipoatrophy is caused by antiretroviral medications taken by HIV sufferers to help combat the disease. Sculptratm is the first injectable treatment to receive FDA approval for such treatment. Dr. Rosenberg injects Sculptratm below the skin surface in the area of fat loss. Sculptratm does not correct the cause of lipoatrophy, but rather increases skin thickness and renews fullness to the face. Sculptratm gradually corrects skin depression; it will take a few days to more than a week before you notice results. Back to top

Vein Sclerosing - Spider Vein Removal
Many men suffer from visible spider veins on the face and/or legs. Vein sclerosing (sclerotherapy) is the removal of these unwanted veins.
